Environment, Health and Safety remains one of the primary concerns of the company. The plant has been designed keeping in mind best practices in EHS. The company monitors the Health and hygiene in the plants.
It is VIPL’s determined Policy to
- Continually improve health, safety and environmental performance through innovative plant designs, ongoing review of processes, procedures and training.
- Set targets to measure, audit and periodically review health, safety and environmental policies.
- Comply with all relevant legislation and any voluntary commitments made by the company.
Safety
The operations of the plant are guided by safety regulations and guidelines. Each process is subjected to detailed risk analysis prior to transfer for regular production. Additionally general safety appliances and provisions like the fire hydrant system, fire fighting equipments, emergency plant evacuation procedures are in place.
